Description

As you might suspect from the name, this little blue box is built around the ubiquitous Si5351 Clock Generator chip.
The TinyClock can be used to provide different frequencies at the three output ports (useful when providing reference clocks to various transmitters or receivers), or just as a general multi-output fixed output level clock generator. Should you require better frequency accuracy than provided by the internal crystal oscillator, the front panel includes a reference clock input port.
Of course you can also use this unit to experiment with the Si5351, exploring the various ways to program this versatile device.
The TinyClock is powered and controlled via a USB-C port, appearing as a virtual serial port. Once configured using a terminal emulator, a computer is no longer required and the TinyClock can be powered via a USB charger.
For more details, here is the User’s Guide.
Note: If you just need two different GPSDO-referenced output frequencies, you should look at the Bodnar LBE-1421 Two-port GPSDO.
